Breaking: Google services hit by serious disruption
Google services which include Gmail, Drive and Docs are currently experiencing serious issues as acknowledged on the company's status dashboard.
The issue seems to have begun shortly after 6:30 a.m Thursday but, it isn't clear what is causing the problems or when they will be resolved.
For Gmail users, the issues include the service crashing when they attempt to compose a new email while for some others, they cannot upload files either as emails or attachments to Google Drive.

Google, in a statement made on its dashboard at 8:20 a.m, said:
"Our team is continuing to investigate this issue. We will provide an update by 9.21 a.m with more information about this problem. Thank you for your patience".
However, an update still wasn't provided on or before 9.21 a.m.
Google gave a summary of the problems its services were experiencing and include:
- Gmail sending issues
- Meet recording issues
- Creating files issues in Drive
- Posting message issues in Google Chat
- CSV user upload issues in Admin Console
The company customer service representatives have been doing their best, responding to users' complaints on Twitter.
Google had said its G-Suite services used by both individuals and businesses have more than two billion users.
