The popular French couture house, Givenchy which is owned by the world-leading luxury corporation, LVMH and famous for dressing Hollywood celebrities like Audrey Hepburn has announced Mathew Williams as its new creative director on Monday.

The brand said Williams is expected to resume work as the new creative director of the fashion house on Tuesday and is also expected to unveil his first Givenchy collection in October in Paris.

Williams started his own sophisticated streetwear label, Alyx and is also known to have worked on costumes for the famous names such as the pop singer, Lady Gaga.

Givenchy reportedly parted ways recently with its former designer Clare Waight Keller. Keller was the designer who designed Meghan Markle's wedding dress.
