CNN has released a video documentary of the Nigerian Lekki shooting. The CNN video on the Lekki Shooting confirmed the Nigerian Army shooting at protesters, contrary to reports.

CNN released detailed findings from an investigative standpoint on what really happened on the 20th of October 2020 at Lekki toll gate as Nigerian soldiers shot directly at EndSARS peaceful protesters.

The endsars protest lasted for twelve days across the nation, and further investigations are still ongoing, with some states setting up a judicial panel of inquiry.

The CNN Video on the Lekki Shooting was released after a series of exclusive interviews was conducted involving those at the venue of the Lekki shooting.

One of those that spoke to CNN was DJ Switch, who covered the shooting live on her Instagram handle from the scene. DJ Switch had to flee Nigeria to seek asylum in Canada after receiving a series of threats to her life.

This CNN video on the endsars Lekking Killings is a serious indictment to the Nigerian army and the Nigerian government after they had denied shooting on peaceful protesters.

Meanwhile, during a session with the Lagos state panel, the Nigerian Army set up to investigate the Lekki shooting denied killing or shooting at protesters.

According to the 81 Military Intelligence Brigade commander, Victoria Island, Brigadier General Ahmed Taiwo, the troops neither shot at nor killed any of the #EndSARS protesters at the Lekki toll gate.

He added that only expended bullets were used. "Blank expended ammunition contains only gunpowder, which just makes noise and a flash", he said.
