EndSARS: Eromosele finally released from police custody
One of the EndSARS front liners, Eromosele Adene, who was arrested by the police force in his residence has been released.
Eromosele Adene, one of the EndSARS campaigners, was arrested in his residence on November 7th and later was transferred from Lagos to Abuja by the Nigeria Police Force.
Eromosele, who is a musician and a civil rights activist, was arrested by 15 policemen at his home located in the Ikeja area of Lagos State.
Eromosele was subsequently taken before the Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, and then transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti before being transferred back to Lagos.
It was learnt that Eromosele was arrested in connection with the EndSARS protest that swept through the nation.
After being transferred back to Lagos, on Tuesday, the court rejected the request by the police for an order to detain Eromosele for another 30 days to enable them to conclude investigations into the allegations against the defendant.
The court also granted him bail of One Million Naira.
