Ogun State police have arrested the founder and General Overseer of The Church of Lord, Olomore Abeokuta, Prophet Ebenezer Ajigbotoluwa for allegedly impregnating two teenage sisters.

According to Daily post the prophet was arrested after the mother of the two victims told the police that the incident occurred when she fell sick in 2018 and was taken to Ebenezer's church for spiritual healing.

Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said the mother of the teenagers accused the prophet of using the opportunity of her sickness to ask her family of six to relocate into the church premises to avoid being afflicted with the sickness.

“There and then, the prophet started having sex with her daughters of 16 and 13 years of age, unknown to her. The pastor impregnated the two underage girls and went on to procure abortion for them in a private clinic,” Oyeyemi said.

Oyeyemi also added that the prophet has also duped the family N2million for what he said is for spiritual cleansing.

Prior to the report, Lafenwa DPO, CSP Muraina Ayilara, went to the church with his men, but the place was deserted before Ogun State Commissioner of Police ordered that the suspect must be hunted down and bought to book.

“In compliance with the CP’s directive, the DPO and his men embarked on intelligence and technical-based investigation, and their efforts paid off when the prophet was arrested on the 6th of August 2020 at about 5 am.

“On interrogation, the suspect confessed to the commission of most of the allegations leveled against him and that it was the reason why he ran away when he heard that police are looking for him,” the PPRO informed.
