Wanted Ogun serial killer shut down by police officer
The wanted Ogun serial killer Feyisola Dosumu also known as Spartan has been gunned down by police while trying bid to arrest him.
The Ogun Commissioner of Police, Edward Ajogun, confirmed that the suspect was shot when he tried to attack the police with a broken bottle and a cutlass.
According to Police Commissioner, Edward Ajogun who spoke with journalists, he said the suspect was discovered in an enclave in Ogere community by police detectives.
Ajogun said the late serial killer was tracked with the help of a drone to his hideout inside a bush in Ogere, where he had created a settlement for himself.
The commissioner said the late Feyisola Dosumu, the serial killer was so tactical in his approach as he cleared enough space in the bush, dug trenches in order to avoid police arrest.
He disclosed that the police engaged him when he broke a bottle to use on the police officer. This resulted in the police officer giving him a “fatal injury” that later led to his death.
The Commissioner of Police, Edward Ajogun led his men to convey the corpse in a van to the Governor’s Office, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta, where Governor Dapo Abiodun was briefed on the operations.
Abiodun could not hide his joy as he appreciated the police, the local hunters and other security agents who participated in the search for the said serial killer who was wreaking havoc in his hometown.
The Governor warned other criminals in Ogun State to steer clear, saying the government will not condone any act of criminality.

Dosumu Spartan was said to be a notorious cultist, who graduated from a polytechnic in Ogun.
It was learnt that he escaped from the Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Aro, Abeokuta, where he had earlier been admitted for treatment after he developed a mental disorder.
The police have since then declared him wanted as the Commissioner of Police in Ogun State, Edward Ajogun, visited the communities to assure residents that the culprit would be arrested.
He has hacked not less than 15 people, including a community leader and a nursing mother.
