Award winning Filmmaker and director Kemi Adetiba had been keeping her relationship to music executive, Oscar Heman-Ackah on the down low.
However, in February about five days to the anticipated valentine's day celebration
Nigerian Wedding Party writer and director Kemi Adetiba announced via Instagram that she had accepted a marriage proposal from Oscar Heman-Ackah.
In the post, the "Visual Troublemaker" as she calls herself said: "We've taken some time to privately enjoy this moment and bask in the celebration of it all.
“However, we’re beginning to understand it might be next to impossible to keep a lid on this for much longer……..“So dear FAMILY, on the 28th of January in Ghana, delivered as a beautiful surprise and expression of love, and in the presence of some close friends and family,
@oscarhemanackah asked that we spend the rest of our lives together. “And I wholeheartedly said YES… without a single reservation.”
The proposal ceremony took place on January 28, 2022 in Ghana in the presence of close family and well wishes. Lead actor of the blockbuster film " King of Boys" Sola Sobowale also made a guest appearance at the ceremony.

Two days after the Valentine celebration Nigerian gospel artiste, Tim Godfrey, announced his engagement to beau, Erica Katrina . He shared photos from their engagement on his Instagram page and wrote:
“Meeting you changed my life. Meeting you brought unending smiles. Most importantly, meeting you was and is my greatest reward from God.
“Thank you for saying YES! I can’t imagine how I’ve lived without you all my life. But guess what? I would have waited forever till we crossed paths. But thank God, this blissful and Heaven-made journey has started…..EKJ’ You are my STILL WATERS! I love you.”

On Sunday Night, April 3rd, famous rapper Jude Abaga aka M.I Abaga announced his engagement to Eniola Mafe after sparking dating rumours in February.
The ex-Chocolate City CEO disclosed this on Twitter with a romantic video of how their love story began.
According to Linked In profile Eniola Mafe is a strategist and international development leader with the World Economic Forum.
The duo met in 2020 through mutual friends and that chance meeting has blossomed into one of the most unusual love stories.

Nollywood screen goddess Rita Dominic is engaged to her sweetheart Fidelis Anosike. According to reports, representatives of the film star revealed the couple “got engaged some time ago”.
The sources were quoted as saying they “have privately been putting plans together for their upcoming nuptials.” oved up photos of the actress and her fiance also surfaced on social media.
