Zinoleesky and Mohbad

Why did the NDLEA arrest Zinoleesky and Mohbad?

There are always two sides to every story. When viral video of the arrest of the Marlian record signees arrest broke the internet everyone wondered what the singers Zinoleesky and Mohbad would have done to warrant such treatment.

In an exclusive chat with Daily Trust, the Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, confirmed the arrest of the singers.

According to Babafemi the operative of NDLEA discovered illicit drugs in the house of the Zinoleesky and Mohbad during the early morning raid which finally led to their arrest on the spot.

Mr.Femi further added that in truth, the singers have been arrested. But he noted that Zinoleesky and Mohbad were taken into custody after the NDLEA received reliable information that ” they were in possession of drugs. We moved in on them and recovered drugs. That is why six of them were arrested; four males and two females."

Buttressing his point, Mr Femi said that during the house search, agency personnel found “in their possession quantities of molly and cannabis sativa."

Although investigations are still ongoing the singers will remain in custody till the agency nabs the source of where they get these substances from.
