Tiwatope Savage was born on February 5, 1980, to parents Mr Savage and Cecilia Savage in Isale Eko

The Nigerian singer and songwriter relocated to London with her parents at age 11 in 1991.

The African bad girl graduated with a degree in business administration at the University of Kents &Berkeely music school in the United Kingdom.

Tiwa moved back to the USA, where her professional music career began in 2010.

She started by doing backup vocals for Mary J.Blige and George Micheal at 16.

Tiwa savage has not only topped charts with her music but has also topped google search queries over her controversies and scandals.

In 2016, Tiwa savage’s manager and husband, Tunji Balogun { Teebillz}, went on social media to call out his wife accusing her of sleeping with Tuface, Dr. Sid and Don Jazzy, amongst other serious allegations, after which he made an attempt to commit suicide by trying to jump inside a Lagos Lagoon

After 48 hours Tiwa Savage granted an interview on camera narrating her own side of the story.

In her interview, she claimed her husband Teebliz had been stealing from her and had been involved in a 45million Naira fraud case being investigated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), amongst other allegations.
