Here are some exciting stories of the week.

1. DJ Cuppy and Zlatan make a truce

On Sunday, DJ Cuppy, daughter of popular Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola and disc jockey, made a surprise appearance at O2 Arena, London concert on stage for Zlatan Ibile.

Too shocked for words on seeing Cuppy on stage, Zlatan hugged Cuppy after they exchanged pleasantries.

The 28year old DJ Cuppy shared an Instagram video where she said, "So, Zlatan, e be like say we dey beef.

Zlatan replied, "We no dey beef, you no dey owe me money.

After they performed her hit song "Gelato."

Zlatan and Cuppy reportedly had a brawl earlier this year. The billionaire heiress claimed Zlatan blocked her on all social media platforms for 10 months.

When Zlatan is asked in an interview about the incident, he denies knowing the Gelato crooner.

2. Obi Cubana arrested and released by EFCC

Arrested on Monday by EFCC for money laundering and tax evasion, the billionaire socialite, Obi Cubana was released after 3 days of rigorous interrogation.

3. Wizkid and Tems bag5 nominations each at Soul Train Awards 2021

On Tuesday, Nigerian afrobeat star, Wizkid and rebel gang leader Tems got nominated at the 2021 Soul Train Awards.

Wizkid was nominated in 5 categories while Tems had 4. Their nominations come in Video of The Year, song of the year, the Ashford and Simpson songwriter’s award and Best Collaboration for record-breaking single, Essence.

4. Omoghetto; The saga wins foreign award

Congratulations were in order as Funke Akindele-Bello and JJC Skillz' box office hit 'Omo Ghetto: The Saga' landed its first international award.

Co-Producers FilmOne NG gushed about the latest win in an Instagram post.

Omoghetto the saga won the highest-grossing film of the 2020/21 award at the META Cinema Conference in the United Arab Emirates.

5. Netflix introduces a free game feature to android users.

The streaming platform has launched its first collection of games after hinting about it in July.

Android subscribers gained access to the feature since Tuesday. Some of the games will require internet access, while the others can be played offline and in multiple languages.

Not leaving iOS subscribers behind, Netflix said they are working to make it available for iOS users in the coming month.

There are no extra fees as all games are included in the monthly subscription plans.

6. Mr Macaroni, Nigerians react to skit makers visit to VP Osibajo

Twenty four hours after Taooma, Josh 2 funny and others paid a visit to the Vice president, Prof Yemi Osibajo, the internet was on fire as Taaooma shared details of the meeting.

She raised the issue of the Twitter ban and Endsars protest.

Nigerians lashed out at the comedians for stopping low enough to think that government would listen to them.

In the heat of the moment, Mr Macaroni, a popular comedian said that he declined the invitation to visit the VP. 

In a series of tweets, he slammed the government for taking advantage of the youth for photo ops and PR.

Following the backlash, Taaooma apologized to the public saying that her intentions were pure.

6. Kenny Blaq ''In my room'' is coming to Netflix

Popular Nigerian comedian, Kenny Blaq is set to release his comedy special on Netflix. Blaq is the first Nigerian comedian to have his content locally shot on Netflix.

The set release date is November 17.  Kenny Blaq is one of Nigeria's talented comedians, his talent has been appreciated by all and sundry. 2017, Kenny won  The Future Awards Africa Prize for Comedy.

7. Cardi B is set to host the American Music Awards.

American female rapper, Cardi B announced her hosting debut for American Music Awards. In an exciting post on the gram, the Grammy award-winning rapper the upcoming awards show on Tuesday and hosting gig.

Producers MRC Live & Alternative and ABC confirmed the big news in a statement shared with the media.

8. Jay Z leaves Instagram

Shortly after joining the app with 1.3million followers, billionaire rapper Jay Z deactivated his Instagram account 24hours later.

 There are no details of his reason for leaving the app at the moment.

9. Chris Evans is soon to be crowned sexiest man alive!

Captain America actor Chris Evans will be crowned sexiest man alive for the year 2021.

The American star actor will grace the glamorous front page of People Magazine.

Page six reported that the actor was next in line last year but lost his chance after posting his nude on Instagram, leaving him red-faced.

The American star will be unveiled next week on the cover of People Magazine.

10. Marvel Movie "Eternal" banned from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait and Nigeria

Marvel's latest film, "Eternal", has been banned from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar and Nigeria.

Eternals' is an American superhero film based on a Marvel Comics race of the same name.

The movie, which depicted a character as gay kissing his husband, is produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney.

Local edit censor warned Disney to yank out the scene, but Disney turned deaf ears.

The new superhero movie was set to premiere in Nigeria on November 5.

However, it has been banned by the National Film Video and Censors Board.
