Update: Naira Marley speaks on singers, Zinoleesky and Mohbad's NDLEA arrest
The chairman of Marlian Music records, Naira Marley has confirmed the release of Mohbad from NDLEA custody.
Nigerian singer and CEO of Marlian music Azeez Fashola (Naira Marley), has finally released a statement on Twitter about the raid and arrest of his label signees, Zinoleesky and Mohbad, by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
On Thursday, 24, 2022 the Marlian music acts Zinoleesky and Mohbad were both arrested alongside others at odd hours by the NDLEA.
The viral video of events of the night were recorded by an individual present at the scene of the raid and arrest via Instagram live session.
Based on reports from Daily trust the spokesperson for the NDLEA, Mr Femi Babafemi revealed that the singers, Zinoleesky and Mohbad were arrested alongside other crew members(Shubomi, Micee and Dorsky) after the agency recovered illicit drugs(Cannabis and Molly) in their possession.
Although Naira Marley,was not in the country at the time of the incident, he released updates on the situation of his label signees. According to the singer, Mohbad has been released while Zinoleesky and other members of his Marlian music are still in custody.
"The NDLEA has released Mohbad after physically assaulting him, Zinoleesky is still in custody. The boys are under a lot of stress after being ambushed in the middle of the night with no warrantt."

Naira Marley also expressed his disgust at the NDLEA for harassing and manhandling his music acts, Zinoleesky and Mohbad.
The controversial singer Naira Marley was involved with the Electoral Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in 2019 after he released his infamous single "Am I a yahoo boy?
Naira Marley was arrested by EFCC alongside Zlatan Ibile and others over his alleged involvement in a credit card scam and faced trial on 11 charges bordering on conspiracy, possession of counterfeit cards and fraud.
The case lasted for two years with Naira Marley pleading not guilty before the court. The court granted him bail in the sum of N2million with two sureties in like sum.
Taking to his Twitter, Naura Marley put up a thread about the injustice him and his crew have suffered.
"What is happening to my brothers is disgusting. The injustice is unfair and this is beginning to look like a pattern. First me now my artists. Free Zinoleesky, free shubomi, free micee and dorsky 💔"
Naira Marley also added that he will be returning to Lagos quickly. The singer has since arrived in the country about one hour ago at the time of this report.
Meanwhile, recently released Mohbad has shared a rather disturbing video via Instagram live session. In the tense video, Mohbad was repeatedly heard screaming in Yoruba that Naira Marley and other crew members were after his life.
The 22year old singer Mohbad was anxious throughout the journey back home according to the video.
Mohbad's recent video has caused quite a stir in the online community as fans have each created a theory that would warrant Mohbad's strange allegations.
