From Ooni's palace: Oba Ogunwusi warns against sharing fake pictures of son

Director of Media, Ooni's Palace, Moses Olafare on Tuesday warned against sharing fake pictures of the newborn son of the royal leader of Ooni, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi.

Olafare, in a statement, explained that the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, who had the only right to make the face of the baby public was yet to do so.

Olafare further said that sharing fake pictures of Oba Ogunwusi's son might constitute an invasion of privacy which is an actionable offence.

The Ooni's Palace Director of Media, Olafare also urged the public to ignore the pictures circulating social media as the Ooni of Ife's son.

The statement read in part;

"His father, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife who has the sole right to make the face of the baby public, is yet to do so, as essential traditional rites to formally welcome the prince in accordance to our culture and traditions are still ongoing".

Clacified had listed Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi II Ojaja, the Ooni of Ife as one of the top 10 richest kings in Nigeria.
