Buhari presides over 'first ever' virtual FEC meeting
President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday presided over the first virtual meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC0 at the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, where he unveiled his new Chief of Staff, Ibrahim Gambari.
The meeting which reportedly started at 11:22 a.m was conducted in line with the guidelines and basic COVID-19 protocol of social distancing.

The meeting had in attendance top executive assistants including the Vice-President, Yemi Osibanjo, the Secretary to The Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha and some other members of the cabinet.

Other members of the cabinet including the Head of Service, Folashade Yemi-Esan, participated virtually in the meeting from their respective offices.

A minute silence was observed in honour of the late former Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari after which the SGF formally announced Mr Gambari as the new Chief of Staff to the President.
