The President of United States, Donald Trump, who is also contesting for a second term, has accused his opponents of electoral malpractices in the Presidential election, saying that they are trying to steal the election.

According to Donald Trump, who is the candidate for the Republican party, his opponents are casting votes after the polls are closed.

The incumbent president had taken to his official Twitter account to cry out. "We are up big, but they are trying to steal the election. We will never let them do it. Votes cannot be cast after the polls are closed!", he tweeted.

As the polls gradually closed on Tuesday across various States in the United States, it's been a long night of waiting for results ahead.

Clacified reported earlier that with the first results that trickled in, the US media had projected wins for the Republican incumbent, Donald Trump as he wins 13 states against Biden who reportedly won 11 states including the capital city of Washington DC.

The states won by Trump include Kentucky, Indiana, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and West Virginia which were all the states he won back in 2016.
