Football legend Diego Maradona has died at the age of 60 one week after successful brain surgery. All football lovers and fans have taken to social media to mourn Maradona.

Diego Maradona was regarded as one of the best players of his era alongside his Brazilian friend Pele. Maradona's death is a shock to every football lovers as many lists expected the legend to pass out sooner.

Maradona played for different clubs during his career including Napoli where he helped them lift their only two Serie A trophies, Argentinos Juniors and Boca Juniors, Barcelona, Newell's Old Boys and Sevilla.

Diego Maradona has coached different clubs since he retired from football including Textil Mandiyú in 1994, Racing Club in 1995, Argentina National Team from 2008 to 2010, Al-Wasl in UAE, Fujairah in UAE, Dorados in Mexico and Gimnasia de La Plata in Argentina.

Diego Maradona also won many trophies during his career including Copa del Rey, Copa de la Liga, Supercopa de España, Serie A title two times, Coppa Italia, UEFA Cup, Supercoppa Italiana and FIFA World Cup: 1986

Diego Maradona won many individual awards including FIFA World Cup Golden Ball and FIFA World Cup Silver Shoe in 1986, Onze d'Or 1986 and 1987, Ballon d'Or for services to football in 1995 FIFA Player of the Century in 2000 and many more.

All-round, the world football lovers, feel grieve and are in anguish over Diego Maradona's death with many clubs and individuals sending their condolences through their social media handles.
