Inter in advanced talks for Hellas Verona defender, Marash Kumbulla
Inter Milan is in talks with Hellas Verona to determine the fate of the Verona's defender, Marash Kumbulla.
The 20-year-old central defender has been developing well since making his professional debut for Hellas Verona on August 12 2018, starting in a 2–0 away loss to Catania in the Coppa Italia.
It is rumoured that Juventus has reached an agreement with the club for the service the young talent after showing their interest, but Inter Milan is in pool position to sign Kumbulla with advanced talk ongoing.
Some Premier League clubs were also linked with his signature, but no official negotiation has been seen from the England side.
Inter is looking to boost their squad after Losing Serie A second Position to Lazio before the league was suspended due to coronavirus pandemic.
With Giorgio Chiellini, 35-year-old coming of age Juventus are looking for the replacement of their defender who will be retiring in no distant time.
Juventus is currently on top of the Serie A table with one point gap from second place Lazio. The Serie A season will be resuming on June 13 and Juventus will be hoping to maintain their spot at the top and retain the league cup as the defending champion.
