Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has admitted his club had a good season winning the Premier League title despite making some errors in a defeat against London club Arsenal.

After winning the Premier League title, Liverpool has been fighting to break the history of being among the elite clubs with up to hundred points in a season's league. Still, the hope of getting there has crashed as Arsenal defeated Liverpool in a 2-1 victory at Emirates Stadium.

Liverpool took the lead from Sadio Mane after pushing Robertson's cross into the back of the net in the 20 minutes of the game. Still, a short pass from Liverpool defender Virgil Van Dijk helped Arsenal bounce back into the game with a goal from Alexandre Lacazette and another inaccurate pass from goalkeeper Allison Becker saw Reiss Nelson get on the score sheet as Arsenal won the game.

The reds manager, Jurgen Klopp refused to take it as an unfavourable season as the defeat has ended their hope of reaching 100 points just like Manchester City did back in the 2018 season. Arsenal win is the first time Liverpool is loosing to the Emirate club since April 2015.

Although Klopp expressed his disappointment from the players for such errors he still maintained that they had a good season winning the Premier League title for the first time in 30 years.

"I am disappointed with the result, of course," Klopp said. "I am OK with big parts of the performance, and it is one of the better game we have played here.

"We started exceptionally well, and I cannot remember such a dominant performance we have played since I have been in, but then scoring 1-0 was completely deserved until we took kind of a break.

"That is human, and maybe it was just misjudgment of the situation. If you have control of the game, you don't have to attack constantly. But in these moments around your box, giving the ball away is not helpful. But Arsenal was there to score these two goals.

"In the second half we were completely in charge, and they only had one more shot I think at the end of the game.

"The numbers I saw were 24 to 3 [for shots] for us, 70-30 possession, that is exceptional, but the result is the truth, and we accept that. And we know we are responsible for the result.

On the points haul, Klopp added: "We have to make sure things like this do not happen again.

"I want the points we can get, and we will see what it is at the end of the season. I cannot make a negative of something positive, becoming champions.

"We won it the earliest in the season, and we have 93 points, I am not the type of person who thinks it is a negative ', but we cannot get the 100 points anymore'.

"So we get the points we deserve, and we will see what that will be. These boys have played an exceptional season, and no-one can take that away from them."
