Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson is very grateful for the support of their fans after lifting the Premier League in 2019/2020 season saying the "team is lifting the title for the fans"

Liverpool team has been without a Premier League trophy since 1990 after appointing several coaches in the likes Rafael Benítez, Roy Hodgson, Kenny Dalglish, Brendan Rodgers and Jurgen Klopp having coached the club.

The era of Jurgen Klopp has brought back the glory days for both Liverpool players and fans as the club has returned back not only to their winning ways but also to lifting trophies. Klopp has led the team to win UEFA Champions League (2018/2019), UEFA Super Cup (2019) and FIFA Club World Cup (2019).

Liverpool this season has secured the 2019/ 2020 Premier League title, but they are yet to be given the trophy. On Wednesday the title will be given to the reds following their last home game of the season against Chelsea who is fighting for the top four positions the league table.

The club (Liverpool) captain Jordan Henderson has thanked the fans for their support during an interview saying they will be lifting the trophy for their fans.

"We are lifting it for you – you’ve driven us to achieve this dream. But this club’s values are about taking care of each other and that means supporting us from home and in safe environments."
