Following the English Premier League tournament which concluded last month the league has nominated eight players from different clubs to contend for the 2019/2020 "Goal the Season" award.

The 2019/2020 Premier League season has been quite an unusual season after the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic which saw the league suspended for over two months.

The suspension never stopped players from showing their talents with different players scoring amazing goals in the 2019/2020 season.

After the league got concluded on Sunday, July 26, 2020, the English Premier League Football Association has brought the list of the best goals of 2019/2020 season.

The list featured eight players from different Premier League clubs.

  • Leceister City winger Harvey Barnes who scored a fine volley from a header inside the 18-yard box against Sheffield United
  • Southampton midfielder Moussa Djenepo that dribbled past three Sheffield United players before putting the ball at the back of the net.
  • Newcastle United 21-year-old midfielder Matty Longstaff. His outside 18-yard shot against Manchester United earned him a spot in the nominees.
  • Manchester City best midfielder Kelvin De Bruyne who scored a fine volley from outside the 18-yard box against Newcastle United in the match that ended 2-2
  • Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-min with his goal against Burnley that he collected in front of Tottenham's goal post and dribbled past Burnley players to put the ball in the net.
  • Brighton winger Alireza Jahanbakhsh who scored a fine overhead kick against Chelsea on January 1, 2020.
  • Burnley's Matej Vydra with his long volley inside the 18-yard box against Southampton.
  • Manchester United January signing Bruno Fernandez who converted a fine assist against Brighton with a sumptuous volley
  • Kelvin De Bruyne was nominated the second time with his goal against Norwich City in the final day of the Premier League
