Ligue 1 Champion Paris-Saint German has signed Porto midfielder Danilo Pereira on a season-long loan just hours before the end of the 2020 transfer window.

PSG'S manager Thomas Tunchel has been talking about the signing of players to boost his squad and has now signed Danilo who has been playing for Porto since 2015 with an option to buy.

After signing for PSG Danilo said: “It’s a new challenge for me, and to be part of Paris Saint-Germain fits my ambitions,”

“Joining one of the biggest clubs in Europe and in the world is a huge moment in my career, and I hope to be able to bring a lot to Paris and its supporters.”

Danilo will bring in competition into PSG'S midfield fighting for a place in the starting eleven

Danilo is a good defensive midfielder with a lot of strength and good tackles, he has an eye for goals and has scored 19 goals for Porto since joining the club.

Danilo will be competing with the likes of Marco Verratti, Idrissa Gueye, Ander Herrera in the midfielder in the 2020 season.

PSG has also signed Everton's 20-year-old winger Moise Kean on a season-long loan on Sunday, October 4, 2020, to boost their squad this season.
