Sony announces its new date of PS5 reveal event
Sony company has confirmed the new date of PS5 reveal event that will be taking place in the UK.
The event which was supposed to take place last week Thursday was shifted to an undisclosed date due to the ongoing protests of "Black Life Matter" seen around the globe following the death of George in the hands of Minneapolis police officers.
Gamers who have been waiting for the reveal event show have every course to be excited as the PlayStation 5 games reveal Livestream is set to begin this week Thursday confirmed Sony company.
"While we understand gamers worldwide are excited to see PS5 games," it wrote at the time, "we do not feel that right now is a time for celebration and for now, we want to stand back and allow more important voices to be heard", a statement from one of Sony representative.
However the date for the event was first revealed via a Twitch advertisement, but we are yet to receive an official announcement which we hope will come shortly from PlayStation's official channels. According to news from Instagram, the new date is said to be Thursday, 11th June, at 9 pm in the UK.
Assuming plans for the event was not shifted since the company initially detailed the show at late May, proceedings should last around an hour and will focus on "the games you'll be playing after PlayStation 5 launches this holiday".
"The games coming to PS5 represent the best in the industry from innovative studios that span the globe," wrote PlayStation boss Jim Ryan in his introduction to the event, "Studios, both larger and smaller, those newer and those more established, all have been hard at work developing games that will showcase the potential of the hardware."
