The Federal University of Nigeria, Nsukka, is one of the best and most renowned federal universities in Nigeria. The School, whose motto is To restore the dignity of man, was found in 1995 by Dr Nmandi Azikiwe.

UNN was officially opened on the 7th of October 1960, six days after Nigeria celebrated her independence.

The university is situated at Nsukka, Enugu State and has three campuses situated in Nsukka, Enugu, and Ituku-Ozalla. Enugu State is one of the five south-eastern states of Nigeria.
