Bobrisky Arrested by Immigration on April Fool's Day

Eariler this morning, Bobrisky took to his Instagram page to announce his sudden arrest by the Nigerian immigration officials. Through his Instagram account Bobrisky reported an immigration official's arrest. The message was direct and brief as it declared "Guys I have just been arrested by immigration officers in Nigeria, I don't know what I did o".

This statement had left a lot of confusion, because the social media influencer Bobrisky left Nigeria to the Uk about five months ago all in the name of seeking "sanity and health". Bobrisky explained in his earlier interview that Nigeria forced him, to leave because online hate and personal difficulties had severely affected his mental and physical state.
According to the November 2024 post Bobrisky expressed several times that he has attempted to travel back to Nigeria while purchasing business class tickets. Well, many people reacted skeptically to the alleged arrest news as it happened on April Fool's Day, while some are doubtful of its authenticity, some are feeling bad for him.
On X, formerly known as twitter Anodepressant said “this babe cant get a break in this country, cause tell me why bobrisky is being arrested by Immigration again”.
Also it is visible that most Nigerians are emotional when it comes to Bobrisky. Rom3 on X said “I wish the Nigerian Police would leave Bobrisky alone” while posting bobrisky instagram cry-post.
On the other hand some people had doubts about the post @CTRLdelate said “how has bobrisky been arrested by Nigerian Immigration while in the UK???”
The Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) confirmed Bobrisky’s detention because he stands as a significant figure in their current investigation. The authorities have not provided an explanation for why they detained Bobrisky.
