Nigerian singer, songwriter, and award-winning artist David Adeleke's (aka Davido) son Ifeanyi is trending on social media following reports on the three-year-old's unconfirmed death.
The speculations claim that the 30-year-old singer has reportedly lost his son, Ifeanyi, with baby mama Chioma Rowland to a pool accident.
Based on reports from Linda Ikeji's blog and several posts from other Nigerian celebrities, such as one of Nigeria's top 10 richest comedians, AY Makun, and a few others, the rumored incident may ring true.
Although the family of the supposed late Ifeanyi has not released any official statements, reports say that individuals with close ties to the family have corroborated the news of the three-year-old's demise.
According to reports, the unconfirmed report began after Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus put up a now-deleted tweet of a heartbroken emoji.
How Ifeanyi Adeleke died
Invariably, it was learned that the toddler drowned at the Nigerian singer's residence in Banana Island on Monday, October 31, 2022.
The reconciled couple, Davido and Chioma, were out on travel, leaving the 3-year-old Ifeanyi with his nannies. However, the minders of Ifeanyi reportedly had no idea when the little boy left for the pool.
Various media outlets reported that the young child, Ifeanyi, had drowned in the pool for a while before being pulled out and rushed to the hospital, where he was confirmed dead on arrival.
The reports said sources close to the family with claims that a sizeable number of people who were at Davido's house when the incident happened had been arrested.
The singer, Davido was said to have been moved from the hospital his "late" son was rushed to and taken to his father's house.
News of the incident has rocked major headlines, with many Nigerians refuting the claim of Ifeanyi's death and tagging it a "rumor" propagated by haters. Meanwhile, some Nigerians have made it a point of duty to pray for the family in this trying time.
Other celebrities at this time have come out to send their condolences to the bereaved parents of Ifeanyi. Also, investigations are ongoing in regard to the negligence of the minders of the late Ifeanyi Adeleke Jr.

The couple reportedly welcomed their baby boy in London, United Kingdom, and recently celebrated their son's 3rd birthday anniversary after rekindling their romance.
