VDM Breaks Silence on Obi Cubana Snub, China Rumor

Media personality Radiogad released a video after the Obi Cubana 50th birthday Party, saying  Martins Vincent Otse AKA VeryDarkMan was refused entry at the birthday celebration in Abuja. VDM had responded to the accusations from Radigad in his recent Instagram post.

Within the same post VDM denied other trending rumor about him being deported from China, VDM labeled this claims as unfounded attacks on his reputation. 

VDM and Radiogad debacle: How it all started

Through an online video Radiogad declared that VDM was denied entrance into Obi Cubana's Abuja 50th birthday celebration by security personnel. According to Radiogad VDM who also lives in Abuja failed to get an invite and tried to join the event uninvited but security staff denied him entry. 

Radiogad said the VDM was not only sent out but the bouncers went as far as literally lifting him up from the ground and throwing him off the premises. Radiograd noted that if VDM had been humble enough the actor Nedu was present and could have helped him - referencing the recent beef between VDM and Nedu.

VDM denies China Deportation Rumor

Meanwhile, Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu fueled a separate rumor about VDM not long ago by alleging that VDM had been deported from China for an undisclosed reason.

The actor said that VDM was not only deported from China, but the Nigerian activist has also been barred from re-entering China, this report has left netizens wondering what sort of crime VDM committed.

However, on April 14, 2025, VDM addressed both controversies in a post on his Instagram Channel, emphasizing that the allegations were without evidence. In the post, VDM declared that the claims had no basis and was it was pushed by those who want his downfall.

This post was an attempt to clarify that he (VDM) never sought to crash Obi Cubana’s party, as he did not receive any invitation card and did not appear at the venue on the day. However, VDM  in his post pointed out  that there is no evidence to support their claim.
